Premiere: Will Orchard’s “I Miss You, Like Sunday”

He’s barely 21, but Barrington, Rhode Island native Will Orchard is beyond his years when it comes to writing a song. Progressing from the folk punk duo Llama Sanchez to the indie rock moniker LittleBoyBigHeadOnBike and now writing music under his own name, he’s grown a lot artistically in a very short amount of time. It’s no surprise that Orchard is currently studying at the world-renowned Berklee College Of Music in Boston. On Medium today, the music video for “I Miss You, Like Sunday” is being premiered. It was made with the assistance of Rachel Wolff from Sound Drift Sessions to create an intimate vibe for a heartfelt tune.

“I met Rachael back at a show in January in Providence, Rhode Island when I played with her band, The Wolff Sisters,” Orchard says on how he and Wolff got connected. “Shortly after the gig we were talking and she mentioned she was had recently started a video series, filming intimate performances by New England artists in unconventional spaces. We found the space with the help of a good friend who lived nearby. It’s a rooftop in the lovely North End of Boston. We did a few takes on a windy April afternoon with single field recorder microphone.”
